i updated my iphone4 (gevey sim unlocked) from 4.3.3 to 5.1. and wasn't aware that it will kind of deactivate my phone. it says ACTIVATION FAILED/SIM NOT VALID.
someone told me that it can be unlocked by knowing its carrier. can anyone tell me the carrier of this phone? And if possible, help me how to unlock it. thank you in advance.

put your phone in recovery mode or power on and to pc
open tiny umbrella and press save shsh
your backup save in:
C:Documents and Settingsyour pc name.shsh
now open ifaith 1.4.2
press build signed ipws
select your shsh
select 5.0.1 ipsw
wait few second....... now press build ipsw
wait about 5 minutes to build ipsw
press proceed
put your phone in DFU...
this iphone had restart problem i check the board and ntc way cut after repair this phone ok but not restore just error 1601
have shsh back up for 5.0.1 4.3.5
with all version till 5.1 error
there is no itunes host or any software problem
in dfu mode error 1602
in recovery mode error 21

Hi, I have installed the latest version of ios 5.1,jailbreaked using redsnow preserving the modem firmware. I have also added the "semitether" from cydia to get rid of the rebooting issue. Also did the Click on “Just Boot” and then follow the DFU instructions with redsnow. But, still the phone hangs at apple logo during every restart and i am continuing with the "just boot" procedure....
I het up audio ic on iPhone 4 and the phone now is not tornig on what I can do to fix it please help me with this

so the phone dont have shsh for any version.

Morning all,
I ahve an iphone 4S which was water damaged. I have replaced the battery and cleaned everything and now all is working fine except the phone shows always searching. It does'n not react to the sim card being removed or inserted, just always shows "searching".
I have tried various different batteries abd have tested the battery connections.
